Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) drives full life cycle recruiting for assigned business areas, partnering with hiring managers to deliver qualified talent and accurate recruiting reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage job requisitions in the My Flint Recruiting Module, ensuring timely and accurate candidate and requisition data
  • Facilitate intake and workforce planning meetings with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs, position requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles
  • Partner with hiring managers to design and execute sourcing and staffing strategies for immediate, mid-range, and long-term talent needs
  • Develop and publish job advertisements across job boards, social media, professional networks, community partners, and other sourcing channels
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates using traditional and creative sourcing techniques and build talent pipelines for current and future openings
  • Review applications, screen resumes, conduct phone screens or recruiter interviews, assess qualifications, and provide qualified shortlists
  • Coordinate interview and selection steps, maintain timely candidate and hiring manager communication, and ensure correct candidate dispositioning in the system
  • Manage the offer process, including offer approvals, verbal and written offers, acceptance tracking, and required follow-up
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and other required screenings or documentation, escalating issues as needed
  • Enter and verify accurate new hire information in required HR/recruiting systems prior to start date
  • Own onboarding completion support by coordinating required new hire documents, employment forms, policy acknowledgements, and assigned onboarding requirements
  • Follow up with candidates, new hires, and hiring managers to resolve outstanding pre-employment or onboarding items and meet deadlines
  • Track and report recruiting KPIs for the assigned area, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, applicant volume, source of hire, offer acceptance, aging requisitions, and other established measures
  • Analyze recruiting data and trends to identify risks or opportunities and provide staffing updates and actionable insights
  • Maintain compliant talent pipelines and candidate records for future hiring needs while meeting company processes and recordkeeping requirements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders on recruiting practices, market conditions, and staffing solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, Recruitment Specialist, or similar full-cycle recruiting role; high-volume recruiting experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruiting from sourcing and screening through offer, pre-employment, and onboarding
  • Ability to consult with hiring managers, translate business needs into recruiting strategies, and manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Strong sourcing capability across job boards, social media, professional networks, community resources, referrals, and passive candidate channels
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR/recruiting systems, with the ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date data
  • Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting recruiting KPIs to identify trends and support staffing decisions
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal, interviewing, written, and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused, collaborative approach
  • Ability to handle confidential information and apply consistent recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
