Job Description

This on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist role in Tennessee focuses on creating a professional candidate experience while representing MDHA at job fairs and hiring events. Salary range is $74,557 to $85,081 per year.
What you can expect
In this position, you will manage end-to-end recruiting for assigned vacancies and partner closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to align on staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines. You will also help strengthen MDHA’s employer brand by planning, organizing, and representing the organization at community recruitment events and campus activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned vacancies, including job postings, sourcing, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offers.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines.
- Identify and develop new recruiting sources and platforms to support pipeline growth.
- Coordinate and support internship programs, including outreach, candidate selection, onboarding, program logistics, and intern engagement activities.
- Plan, organize, and represent MDHA at job fairs, campus events, and recruitment activities to strengthen employer brand and candidate pipelines.
- Track recruitment metrics, maintain accurate applicant records, and ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
- Provide regular communication and follow-up to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
Required and preferred qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency with Boolean search, sourcing techniques, and search engine optimization.
- Experience using job boards, social, and digital recruiting tools.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with internship coordination, campus recruiting, or event planning is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of employment laws, equal employment opportunity principles, and hiring compliance.
- Ability to analyze recruiting data and improve sourcing strategies.
- Strong presentation and networking skills for job fairs and community recruitment events.
- Experience supporting public sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.

Salary and schedule
Salary: $74,557 - $85,081 per yearly. On-site work is required.
