Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Job Description
Matter Health is seeking a relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting across clinical, operational, and corporate teams. This onsite role in Nashville centers on building pipelines, improving the hiring experience, tracking recruiting performance, and partnering closely with hiring managers as the organization grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle from intake meeting through offer acceptance for clinical, operational, and corporate roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide ongoing hiring process updates.
- Source both passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, job boards, and other creative sourcing approaches.
- Review applications, assess candidate qualifications, and conduct recruiter phone and video interviews.
- Coordinate interviews while maintaining a professional, engaging candidate experience.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity, candidate records, and recruiting workflows within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as pipeline health, source effectiveness, interview conversion rates, and time-to-fill.
- Support employer branding and recruiting marketing efforts, including networking events and career fairs.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to support onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and the overall hiring experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting across healthcare, operations, corporate, or other professional positions.
- Proven ability to source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms.
- Experience using an ATS to manage recruiting workflows and candidate pipelines.
- Strong interviewing skills plus relationship-building, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions at once while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
- Healthcare recruiting experience.
- Experience using Ashby ATS.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and equal employment opportunity guidelines.

- Build strong relationships with hiring managers across multiple departments.
- Become proficient with Ashby ATS, recruiting workflows, and sourcing tools.
- Begin independently managing a portfolio of open positions while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Within 6 Months
- Successfully manage a full requisition load across clinical, operational, and corporate positions.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill roles.
- Become a trusted recruiting advisor to hiring managers.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.
Within 12 Months
- Consistently deliver outstanding candidate and hiring manager experiences.
- Drive improvements through recruiting metrics and process optimization.
- Help scale Talent Acquisition as Matter Health expands into new communities and markets.
- Serve as a trusted partner within the People Operations team while contributing to the long-term growth of the organization.
