Talent Acquisition Recruiter

BlueLinx is looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for identified branches from our onsite location in Marietta, GA. The role centers on sourcing passive candidates, leveraging job boards, building robust talent funnels, and delivering an excellent candidate experience, all while partnering with hiring managers to identify best-in-class talent for a range of positions, many of which are hourly with long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life cycle recruiting for identified branches, including hourly roles that offer long-term opportunities.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with BlueLinx hiring managers to ensure the right candidate slates are created.
• Develop relationships with the Branch Leadership team and prospective hires; coach first-time managers and hiring managers on the BlueLinx hiring process.
• Operate effectively in a virtual environment where results matter and you help elevate the performance of those around you.
• Assist in creating and refining interview scorecards and guides; conduct virtual interviews and establish best practices.
• Aim to expand HR knowledge, including onboarding, training, background validation, and HR metrics reporting.
• Track and consistently report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of high-volume full-cycle recruiting experience in an agency or corporate setting.
• Hiring DOT drivers is a strong plus.
• Tenstreet experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with Ceridian/Dayforce and Tenstreet-like applicant tracking systems and candidate dispositioning.
• Confident in identifying passive and active candidates.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage your own schedule.
• Solid communication skills across phone, written, and verbal channels.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
• Understanding of the importance of social media in recruiting and enthusiasm for finding the right talent.
• Sense of urgency and resiliency.
