Job Description

DatamanUSA, LLC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for the Aeronautics sector to own the full cycle of University Relations and Recruiting and to build strategic university partnerships. This onsite role is based in Palmdale, CA, with up to 25% travel to engage with campuses and develop early career talent pipelines in engineering disciplines and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with target universities and student organizations aligned to our business needs
  • Establish and sustain long-term university partnerships, engaging with faculty, career services, and student organizations
  • Design and execute campus recruiting programs to build a durable early career talent pipeline in engineering disciplines and emerging technologies
  • Maintain a proactive engagement strategy for candidates across academic cycles
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified early career candidates aligned to defined hiring profiles
  • Partner with hiring managers to refine candidate criteria and selection strategies
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on early career talent market trends and campus strategy
  • Lead planning and execution of campus events, networking sessions, and student engagement initiatives
  • Promote company culture, values, and mission alignment to strengthen brand presence
  • Ensure a seamless, high quality candidate experience through effective communication and process transparency
  • Use data insights to inform campus strategy aligned to sustainability and affordability considerations
  • Ensure adherence to recruiting policies, university guidelines, and compliance requirements
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and site-specific early career and internship requisitions
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Sector UR&R teams to participate in university partnerships
  • Update candidate activity in the applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity
  • Develop and analyze UR&R metrics
  • Develop and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence
  • Maintain exposure to the college recruiting space and the ability to consult with internal and external customers, including students, university partners, hiring managers, and leadership

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting / University Relations OR Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting / University Relations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to obtain a U.S Government clearance
  • Travel required up to 25%
  • Must be based in Palmdale, CA or within a reasonable commuting distance

Basic qualifications for an Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner

  • Must be based in Palmdale, CA or within a reasonable commuting distance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance
  • Proficiency in Workday and Eightfold
  • Previous talent acquisition experience in a corporate recruiting environment
  • Talent acquisition experience within the internship and early career arena
