Talent Acquisition Recruiter

AppleTree Staffing is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to support client hiring needs in Greenwood, IN, with emphasis on contract-to-hire and direct-hire placements within a fast-moving agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and place candidates for contract-to-hire and direct hire opportunities across client openings.
• Source candidates via Indeed, resume databases, referrals, and local recruiting networks to build strong pipelines.
• Screen, interview, and qualify applicants quickly and accurately through phone and in-depth conversations.
• Match candidates to open roles and guide them through the hiring process from screening to offer.
• Collaborate with account managers to understand hiring needs, timelines, and candidate profiles.
• Manage multiple openings simultaneously in a fast-paced agency setting, prioritizing urgent roles while sustaining candidate experience.

Requirements

• Experience managing multiple open requisitions concurrently.
• Comfort engaging candidates across all levels of experience, from entry to senior-level.
• Strong phone presence, interviewing skills, and timely follow-up.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability in prior roles.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Base salary: USD 50,000 – USD 65,000 per year, based on experience
• Monthly commission
• Realistic first-year total compensation: USD 70,000 – USD 85,000
• Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 am–5:00 pm | On-site in Greenwood, IN
