Job Description

This on site talent acquisition role in Irving, TX focuses on high volume call center recruiting and niche insurance roles, balancing speed, scale, and proactive sourcing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proactive candidate pipelines for recurring roles so talent pools are ready before requisitions open.
  • Lead class based and cohort hiring campaigns, coordinating high volume screening, scheduling, and selection cycles with predefined start dates and headcount targets.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on intake and pipeline strategy, translating sourcing output into qualified candidate slates.
  • Perform high volume phone screens to quickly evaluate soft skills, basic qualifications, and cultural fit for core hiring categories.
  • Keep hiring managers informed throughout the full recruiting cycle, from pipeline status to candidate progression to offers.
  • Set and reset expectations proactively, communicating talent availability, timeline risks, and market realities before surprises arise.
  • Present qualified candidate slates with concise summaries to support faster, better hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday and Phenom, including disposition notes, pipeline status, and offer details at every stage.
  • Identify bottlenecks in high volume workflows and propose process improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment for a range of roles across all lines of business in the insurance industry.
  • Extensive sourcing of passive insurance candidates through networking, cold calls, and multiple databases (Workday, Phenom, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, Handshake, social platforms, and more).
  • Conduct candidate screens, deliver feedback, schedule interviews, assess results, and collaborate on hiring decisions.
  • Drive hiring decisions with a focus on a positive candidate experience and finding the best fit for the role.
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines for current and future requisitions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner, offering consultative recruitment services to guide talent strategy.
  • Navigate multiple competing priorities and deadlines with aggressive timelines.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, internal projects, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Ensure recruiting processes and employment actions comply with OFCCP, DOL, state and local regulations, and other governing bodies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience using diverse interview and evaluation methods.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience as a baseline requirement.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a large requisition load while keeping every candidate status visible.
  • Strong communicator who sets expectations early and provides proactive updates to stakeholders.
  • Process change agent who identifies bottlenecks, suggests automation, and helps improve workflows.
  • Pipeline minded with proactive class ready and niche talent pools to differentiate strategic recruitment from reactive hiring.
  • Prior insurance industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Sharp attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract passive candidates and build proactive, inclusive pipelines via cold calling, networking, and advanced sourcing tools.
  • Experience with MS Office, ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter; Workday and Phenom strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously while remaining collaborative with the team.
  • Genuine passion for recruiting.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for job fairs, trainings, and team meetings (less than 10%).
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually and will be influenced by factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, location, and the specific business line and level of the role.
