Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner for Aeronautics will own the full recruiting lifecycle and partner with hiring managers to build pipelines and hire high-quality technical talent. The position is based in Augusta, Maine (hybrid), with a remote arrangement described in the job summary as applicable to the San Diego, Palmdale, El Segundo area and occasional on-site support for local events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle recruiting process through offer, including sourcing, screening, interview support, selection, and offer activities.
  • Serve as the trusted recruiting advisor and primary point of contact for assigned business leaders, guiding interview practices, candidate evaluations, and hiring decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth strategy sessions to align on role scope, requirements, and expected hiring timelines.
  • Educate hiring managers on market conditions, talent availability, competitive compensation, and data-driven expectations.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics as required by talent acquisition leadership and business leadership.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, and relationship development.
  • Assess candidates for technical capability, alignment with NG values, and mission fit.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with compliance standards and talent acquisition processes, including maintaining accurate requisition and candidate data in the ATS.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of Talent Acquisition experience, or a minimum of 6 years of Talent Acquisition experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience recruiting technical talent across engineering disciplines (Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or non-technical disciplines (business, production, operations, supply chain).
  • Experience using Workday Recruiting, Eightfold or similar ATS platforms.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
