Job Description

Doherty Enterprises is hiring a Hybrid Talent Acquisition Manager to partner with Operations leaders, source candidates, and guide applicants through hiring and onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Operations leaders to identify current and upcoming hiring needs
  • Design and execute talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for supported regions and areas
  • Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for open roles
  • Review applications and resumes to quickly identify candidates who should move forward
  • Conduct phone screens and first interviews using established tools and processes
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process and set clear expectations at each step
  • Coordinate candidate and Operations Leadership schedules to keep interviews and decisions on track
  • Arrange pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug testing, following company procedures and applicable requirements
  • Partner with Operations to determine appropriate offers for qualified candidates
  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities with Field Support partners
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate pipeline details in iCIMS to support KPI tracking and reporting
  • Build relationships with external recruiting agencies when additional support is needed for hard-to-fill positions
  • Plan and participate in career fairs, college recruiting events, and related talent activities
  • Evaluate recruiting processes regularly and recommend improvement opportunities
  • Meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual recruiting KPIs

  • Important knowledge of employment laws related to interviewing and hiring
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Employment eligibility to work in the United States required
  • Restaurant industry experience is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to supported locations, meetings, recruiting events, and other business activities, including occasional out-of-state travel
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends when business or recruiting needs require it
  • 1-3 years experience in recruiting, preferably in restaurant/retail industry
  • Valuable: experience with recruiting technology and business applications such as iCIMS and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel to restaurants, cafes, and pubs as needed to meet candidates
  • Must also be able to travel to the New Jersey corporate office when necessary
  • Live in Nassau County, Brooklyn, or Queens
  • Background should include being a Recruiter rather than recruited as part of your job as a Restaurant Manager
  • Experience with iCIMS is a plus

Work Location & Employment Details

  • Location: Farmingdale, NY (hybrid)
  • Work type: Full-time
  • Work location: In person
  • Hybrid/travel: Remote work with travel to restaurants in the Long Island and New York City Metro market when needed; travel to restaurants/cafes/pubs to meet candidates and occasional travel to the New Jersey corporate office when necessary

Compensation

  • Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 per year
