Job Description

A manufacturing oriented Talent Acquisition and HR specialist will drive contingent workforce management and full-cycle recruiting on site in Seneca, SC, supporting multiple business units.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end process for temporary staffing across Greenfield Industries, Allegro, Walter, and other entities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies and internal stakeholders, aligning on workforce needs and priorities.
  • Coordinate high-volume recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding for temporary staff.
  • Track agency performance metrics such as fill rate, quality of hires, and responsiveness; close gaps and drive improvements.
  • Validate timesheets, supervise billing accuracy, and uphold cost control and transparency.
  • Foster robust agency partnerships to ensure steady access to qualified labor for fluctuating operations.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to forecast staffing requirements and ensure timely coverage.
  • Design and continuously improve processes related to contingent workforce efficiency, compliance, and experience.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through onboarding, delivering a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define needs and craft targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct market research to inform compensation and sourcing approaches.
  • Create engaging job postings that reflect the employer brand.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates through diverse channels; build structured interview tools for consistent, objective selection.
  • Manage interview scheduling, gather feedback, and communicate updates throughout the process.
  • Oversee offer preparation, negotiation, and onboarding in line with company guidelines.
  • Support early-career programs, including internships, co-ops, and graduate hiring aligned with business needs.
  • Develop partnerships with universities, colleges, trade schools, and community organizations to sustain talent pipelines.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, campus events, and community outreach to promote opportunities and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with managers to design meaningful early-career experiences that foster learning and future talent conversion.
  • Contribute to employer branding by highlighting culture, values, and growth opportunities.
  • Work with HR and Marketing to produce compelling recruitment content for postings, social media, and events.
  • Support recruitment marketing campaigns to attract diverse, high-quality talent across multiple channels.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and employee data within the ATS and HRIS, ensuring data integrity and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment standards, and applicable laws at federal, state/provincial levels.
  • Monitor and report key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness to inform decisions.
  • Support HR administrative tasks including onboarding documentation, records management, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with payroll and HR to ensure accurate employee data and timekeeping.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR and recruitment workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency and consistency.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and policy updates to stay aligned with legal and organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruitment or high-volume staffing experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Proven track record managing temporary or contingent workforce programs.
  • Strong grounding in sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and selection processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational skills, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and recruitment tools.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
