Job Description

Compensation

Salary: USD 50,000 - 62,000 per year

Location

On-site: Leetonia, OH

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and staffing gaps
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Draft and refresh job descriptions to align with business needs
  • Keep staffing plans current with open roles
  • Maintain consistent staffing for production positions
  • Work with staffing partners to balance temporary and full-time hires
  • Source candidates via job boards, social platforms, networks, and referrals
  • Post openings internally and externally to draw talent
  • Build and sustain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future roles
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates
  • Conduct phone, video, or in-person interviews to assess fit
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers and present candidate recommendations
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process
  • Extend job offers
  • Coordinate onboarding, including pre-employment screening
  • Complete lifecycle tasks to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Serve as a liaison between candidates and hiring teams
  • Promote company culture and employer brand in the market
  • Represent the company at job fairs and recruiting events
  • Assist with employee retention efforts
  • Support growth and development of the team
  • Support strategic HR initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum two years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience required
  • Manufacturing recruiting experience is preferred
  • Interest in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn new skills
  • Detail-oriented with reliable task follow-through
  • Flexible and able to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Strong organizational skills and clear communication
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is strongly preferred
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System is required; iCIMS preferred
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment abilities
  • Negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle multiple requisitions and priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Project management and change management capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and productivity
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorships are not available
  • Regular attendance is required
