Job Description

ASML is seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager to lead Talent Engagement and University Relations across the United States, operating as a local authority for Brand, Sourcing, and Talent Engagement. This onsite role in San Diego focuses on translating global Talent Acquisition and Talent Engagement priorities into US-specific strategies, while building strong employer positioning, candidate engagement, and university partnership ecosystems.

In this distributed CoE leadership position, you will connect global Talent Acquisition strategy with local market execution, strengthen critical talent pipelines, and provide the US market perspective back to global teams through a continuous feedback loop.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate global Talent Engagement and sourcing strategies into US-specific talent strategies and workforce scenarios.
  • Provide local talent risk insights, labor market intelligence, and scenario planning input for US execution.
  • Serve as the voice of the US market in global CoE discussions and strategy shaping.
  • Define and develop local sourcing strategy, target groups, and talent mapping.
  • Build and optimize local talent pipelines and sourcing plans.
  • Develop and drive candidate engagement strategies tailored to US market dynamics.
  • Ensure pipeline strategy is aligned with business demand planning.
  • Design and deploy local talent programs, including early career initiatives.
  • Build local talent communities and engagement programs.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment to secure business ownership and participation.
  • Adapt global frameworks to local early career landscape and market conditions.
  • Lead US university engagement strategy and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain local academic partnerships and ecosystems.
  • Manage events, programs, and engagement with target universities and talent networks.
  • Provide local higher education insights and trends to global teams.
  • Own local Talent Marketing strategy for the US, guiding content creation and campaign execution by communications teams.
  • Ensure strong market positioning and candidate attraction in key talent segments.
  • Act as a strategic partner to TA leadership, HR, and business stakeholders in the US.
  • Lead a cross-functional distributed CoE team across talent marketing, sourcing, and engagement.
  • Drive alignment between global, regional, and local stakeholders, while ensuring execution excellence and contributing to global change initiatives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing US Talent Engagement team.
  • Ensure local execution excellence across brand, sourcing, and engagement.
  • Drive continuous feedback loop to global CoE, embedding global standards while enabling local differentiation.
  • Allocate work responsibilities to fit-for-purpose internal TA and partnership structures.

Required background

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business administration, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Engagement, or HR related roles.
  • Experience working in complex stakeholder environments within large organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading programs, projects, or initiatives.
  • Experience in workforce planning, talent strategy, or talent engagement preferred.
  • Effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical capability (talent data, market insights, scenario thinking).
  • Stakeholder management and influencing across business and HR.
  • Relationship building (universities, partners, stakeholders).
  • Program and project leadership.
  • Strong market orientation and external perspective.
  • Ability to balance strategy and execution.

Compensation

  • Salary range: USD 140,625 - 234,375 per yearly
  • Current base annual salary range referenced: $140,625-$210,938
  • Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data.
  • Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of factors including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities, and pay relative to other team members.
