Job Description

This on-site opportunity in New York City places you within Amazon's Legal and Public Policy Recruiting team, focusing on building sourcing strategies, researching legal talent, and guiding end-to-end recruitment for legal and policy roles. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, leveraging data-driven talent insights, and continuously enhancing the candidate experience as part of Amazon's commitment to delivering high-quality hires.

Responsibilities

  • Build and actively implement sourcing strategies to attract and hire the very best technical talent.
  • Provide strategic guidance and become an advisor to business leaders in matters related to Legal and Public Policy Recruiting by delivering results.
  • Partner with business stakeholders.
  • Support market research and use data to build talent insights and recommend hiring strategies.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
  • Implement and fine-tune new and existing processes for recruiting that contribute to Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience.
  • Work on various projects focused on improving candidate generation best practices.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
  • Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
