Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from intake to offer acceptance and onboarding handoff, including initial meetings, posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer preparation.
- Optimize talent sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and Indeed to build pipelines, support recruiting initiatives, and boost candidate engagement.
- Partner with business leaders to design sourcing strategies that deliver a robust talent pipeline and address anticipated gaps.
- Lead recruiting intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, timelines, interview processes, and target candidate profiles.
- Create, post, update, and manage job postings across the ATS and external platforms.
- Collaborate with department leadership to develop accurate job descriptions and maintain updates as roles evolve.
- Manage the ATS with detailed stage-by-stage notes and ensure timely candidate dispositions in line with Haselden expectations.
- Suggest and refine recruiting metrics to support data-driven hiring decisions.
- Track and follow up on employee referrals while maintaining warm relationships with referees and sources.
- Schedule all candidate interviews from phone screens to final rounds, including in-person sessions and travel logistics when needed.
- Maintain consistent candidate communication to deliver a positive experience and professional representation of Haselden’s brand.
- Partner with the marketing team to leverage social media and create sourcing strategies that widen the talent pool.
- Oversee candidate assessments, administering pre-hire assessments and crafting relevant interview questions.
- Manage Haselden’s virtual bench in the ATS, tracking key industry talent and following up with candidates.
- Work with department heads on networking and relationship-building activities to broaden opportunities for talent.
- Send and track offer letters and coordinate with HR and the hiring manager for a smooth transition to pre-employment requirements.
- Consult with hiring managers on recruiting strategy, market conditions, and talent availability; coach on interviewing best practices and candidate evaluation.
- Facilitate candidate calibration discussions and hiring decisions to align with organizational needs.
- Lead college and university recruiting initiatives, strengthening partnerships to support internships and early talent pipelines.
- Develop relationships with trade schools, workforce programs, and industry partners to sustain pipelines for craft, trade, field, and hourly roles, identifying new partnerships and targeted recruiting efforts.
- Manage recruiting event collateral, branding materials, and giveaways for career fairs and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required.
- Experience recruiting across a variety of roles, including professional, operational, field, craft/trade, hourly, and leadership positions preferred.
- Background in high-volume hiring, hard-to-fill roles, and adapting to changing business priorities preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 356 Suite
- Construction, engineering, manufacturing, energy, industrial, or related industry recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, social media, and other sourcing platforms.
- Proven ability to build talent pipelines and proactively source passive candidates.
- Strong partnering experience with hiring managers and business leaders throughout the recruiting process.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to quick changes; travel as needed.
- Experience supporting internship, university recruiting, or workforce development programs.
- Travel required, including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and other locations for recruiting events.
