Recruiter - University Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Support Amazon’s University Talent Acquisition Field Recruiting team by owning early career recruiting strategy and driving end-to-end candidate search, assessment, and closing.
Responsibilities
- Partner with full lifecycle recruiters, Industry hiring teams, and other stakeholders to build an early career talent strategy
- Create scalable recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process
- Develop and apply sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
- Develop recruiting strategies that support long-range growth, implement new processes, and create standard operating procedures aligned to Amazon’s mission for high-quality customer outcomes
- Articulate recruiting plans in writing, including deliverables, timelines, and formal tracking
- Facilitate candidate interview events
- Support special projects and recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques
Requirements
- 2+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
- Experience implementing end-to-end recruiting strategies, including employer branding and interview process optimization
- Experience with CTS/ATS for sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
- Experience contributing to creation and implementation of high-quality, high-volume recruiting plans
- Experience in progressive corporate or search firm recruiting focused on passive engineering candidate generation in a high-tech market
Location and Travel
- Based in Seattle, Nashville, or Arlington
- Not remote
- Travel required during peak campus recruiting times

- USA, TN, Nashville: $50,900 - $89,100 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $80,200 - $99,100 USD annually
