Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead – Management Consulting
Job Description
The Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead helps a growing management consulting practice attract and secure top talent, owning the full cycle of recruiting and campus programs. Based in Washington, DC or Salt Lake City, with remote options and travel as needed, this role drives recruiting strategy and execution across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end recruitment for consulting roles across the firm, covering Analysts, Associate Consultants, Engagement Managers, and specialized hires.
- Collaborate with consulting leadership to clarify hiring needs, workforce planning, and recruiting priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with leading universities, student organizations, career centers, and MBA programs.
- Act as the primary campus recruiting liaison for MGT, coordinating events, interview processes, and internship programs.
- Source and engage high-caliber candidates from consulting firms, graduate programs, and related industries.
- Own the candidate experience from initial outreach through offer, with onboarding coordination.
- Design and refine recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and talent-tracking systems.
- Oversee recruiting operations including scheduling, pipeline management, reporting, and coordination with hiring teams.
- Support employer branding, recruiting marketing, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Proactively build scalable recruiting strategies and identify opportunities to improve talent acquisition outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Five or more years of experience in management consulting, consulting recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related professional services environment.
- Prior experience working in or recruiting for management or strategy consulting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently own projects and deliver results in fast-paced settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with candidates, universities, and senior leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Outstanding organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- High professionalism, sound judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
