Recruiter III
Job Description
The Recruiter III partners with internal stakeholders, external contacts, and candidates to support Harbor Freight Tools (HFT) in attracting top talent. This remote role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, staffing plan development, and candidate sourcing across targeted areas while representing HFT as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full cycle recruiting process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, salary consultations and negotiations, and offer administration for prospective candidates in targeted areas.
- Develop and execute staffing plans that sustain a pipeline of highly qualified and diverse internal and external candidates.
- Lead intake meetings with Hiring Managers to understand the culture, skills, and team fit requirements for each opening.
- Source actively using social media platforms, job boards, data mining techniques, job fairs, referrals, networking channels, and other creative sourcing methods.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates to support continued interest in HFT opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners that support recruiting and hiring efforts.
- Prepare recruiting reports and presentations to communicate progress and measure recruiting initiative effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HFT operations on recruiting and hiring-related initiatives.
- Identify continuous process improvement opportunities in a rapidly growing and changing business environment.
- Promote HFT as the employer of choice by sharing information about company culture, benefits, and opportunities.
- Perform other duties as business dictates.
Requirements
- High School or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using job postings, social media, applicant tracking systems, and other recruiting tools.
- Detail-oriented, analytical approach with the ability to self-start.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities under strict deadlines.
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative, accountable work style.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively challenge leadership.
- General office environment requirements for remote work, including the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to speak and listen in person and over the phone and through video conferencing.
- Ability to use a keyboard and read from a computer screen and reports.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to perform the job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Compensation and Location
- Location: Calabasas, CA (remote)
- Salary: USD 65,600 to 98,300 per year
- Travel: Up to 10%
- Flex designation: Anywhere
