Recruiter
Job Description
WaterBridge Resources is seeking a Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring across corporate and technical teams as well as high-volume field operations. The role focuses on building repeatable sourcing pipelines and hiring processes, partnering with internal leaders, and delivering a consistent candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage requisitions end to end for corporate and technical roles across engineering, commercial, finance, accounting, IT, HSE, and G&A.
- Run intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements, must-haves, market considerations, and realistic timelines.
- Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates, then present calibrated slates with clear rationale.
- Coordinate interview loops, collect structured feedback, and guide the hiring team to a decision.
- Manage offers through close, including compensation discussions in partnership with HR and Total Rewards.
- Deliver high-volume hiring for field operations, including operators, technicians, drivers, electricians, mechanics, and facility and construction crews.
- Partner with field leadership and area supervisors to stay ahead of headcount needs tied to asset build-out and commissioning schedules.
- Build local pipelines in the Permian Basin and other operating markets through job fairs, trade schools, community partnerships, and referral programs.
- Oversee pre-employment requirements with HR and HSE, including background checks, drug and alcohol screening, MVR requirements, and fit-for-duty steps.
- Identify and diagnose hiring bottlenecks in the field before they result in staffing shortfalls.
- Source passive candidates proactively using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, industry networks, and direct outreach.
- Create and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles instead of starting from zero each requisition.
- Strengthen candidate engagement through job postings, outreach messaging, careers content, and campus or association activity.
- Manage relationships with staffing and search partners, including scope, cost, and performance.
- Maintain hiring practices and documentation that hold up under audit and third-party review.
- Ensure compliance with EEO, OFCCP where applicable, ADA, FCRA, FMLA, I-9 and E-Verify, and applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records in the ATS and HRIS.
- Provide a professional, responsive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding handoff.
- Support annual and quarterly headcount planning with HR, Finance, and business unit leadership.
- Deliver regular pipeline and hiring updates to management.
- Create reports, KPIs, and dashboards to improve source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and open-role status.
- Contribute data-driven insights in workforce planning and strategy discussions.
- Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and realistic trade-offs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent recruiting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum five years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency, including direct sourcing of passive candidates.
- Experience recruiting for both corporate/professional and field/hourly populations.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition workload and competing priorities while maintaining candidate quality.
- Working knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance, including EEO, ADA, FCRA, and I-9 requirements.
- Experience partnering with and influencing senior hiring managers and executives.
- Proficiency with an applicant tracking system and LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable sourcing tools.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfort creating recruiting reporting and working with business intelligence tools (Power BI or Spotfire).
- Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
