Job Description
Family-owned immigration and estate planning law firm seeks a Legal Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle hiring for attorneys and professional staff in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Responsibilities
- Managing full-cycle recruitment for attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, intake specialists, and administrative staff
- Partnering with firm leadership to identify current and future hiring needs
- Drafting, posting, and optimizing job advertisements on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms
- Actively sourcing candidates through job boards, resume databases, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and direct recruiting
- Reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone/video screenings
- Screening candidates for communication style, urgency, professionalism, judgment, and client-facing ability
- Coordinating interviews with attorneys, managers, and leadership
- Communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting with offer letters and onboarding coordination, subject to attorney/leadership approval
- Maintaining applicant tracking records and recruiting documentation
- Managing multiple open roles at once in a fast-paced environment
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified legal and professional-services candidates
- Supporting the firm’s long-term talent acquisition strategy as the team grows
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience hiring attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, intake specialists, administrative staff, or professional-services employees
- Strong experience sourcing candidates on Indeed and LinkedIn
- Experience using an applicant tracking system or recruiting database
- Comfort with high-volume hiring and managing multiple open positions simultaneously
- Strong ability to evaluate communication skills, professionalism, urgency, follow-through, and client-service judgment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with firm leadership
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing law firm environment
- Willingness to work in person in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position Overview
Maimone Legal is seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle hiring for attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, intake specialists, and administrative staff. This role requires active sourcing, screening, and securing strong candidates who are professional, responsive, and client-service oriented, aligned with the pace and standards of a growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, ATS systems, and recruiting platforms to identify and engage legal and professional-services talent. The person in this role must be comfortable managing multiple open roles at once, conducting initial screenings, assessing communication style and professionalism, and helping leadership build a reliable pipeline of qualified candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law firm recruiting experience
- Immigration law, estate planning, or professional-services recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting bilingual candidates
- Bilingual or multilingual recruiting experience, especially in Spanish, Italian, French, or Portuguese
- Experience recruiting client-facing roles such as intake specialists, receptionists, sales/intake staff, or legal support personnel
- Familiarity with law firm operations, client-service standards, and legal hiring expectations
Work Location
This is an in-person position at Maimone Legal PLLC in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Pay
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
