Independent Contract Recruiter (1099) – Project-Based, Remote

Join Providence Real Estate as an independent contract recruiter to support full-cycle hiring on a project-based, fully remote basis.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for multiple open roles, including candidate sourcing, initial screening, interview coordination, and ongoing pipeline tracking.
• Source active and passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other creative networking approaches.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and streamline the interview process.
• Maintain accurate, current records and candidate pipelines inside the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure timely feedback loops between managers and candidates.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience running full-cycle recruiting independently with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on new roles, teams, and shifting hiring priorities.
• Comfort working flexible, intermittent hours tied to the active project pipeline.

Engagement Details

• 1099 independent contractor role, engaged project-by-project as hiring needs arise.
• Fully remote work based out of Wilmette, IL.

• Best fit for recruiters already established in independent contractor engagements who can move between workstreams.
