HR Recruiter

Performance Contractors, Inc. in Pasadena, TX (onsite) seeks an HR Recruiter to oversee full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding and retention, collaborating with department managers to forecast hiring needs; bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with business needs
• Create recruitment materials and post openings to relevant job boards, newspapers, colleges, and other channels
• Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, and other networks
• Screen resumes and job applications to identify qualified candidates
• Conduct interviews using reliable tools and methods, coordinating around schedules
• Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
• Onboard new hires to ensure smooth integration into the team
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the team
• Serve as a point of contact to build strong candidate relationships during the selection process
• Promote the company’s reputation as a top place to work

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Recruiter in Industrial Construction, including roles such as pipefitters, welders, crane operators, scaffold builders, E&I, insulators, painters, etc.
• Strong ability to conduct various interview formats
• Hands-on experience with multiple selection processes (phone interviews, reference checks, etc.)
• Ability to organize skills assessment centers
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Hands-on experience with recruiting software as well as HRIS or HRMS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making abilities
