Driver Recruiter

Walgre Transport Inc is seeking a CDL-A Driver Recruiter in Columbus, OH (onsite) to help build a strong driver pipeline for its fleet. This role supports hiring from first contact through new-hire orientation, with compensation designed to reflect experience and performance. You will also benefit from a team-focused recruiting culture and established tools like Tenstreet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective CDL-A drivers by phone, text, and email
• Recruit qualified solo drivers and established driving teams
• Explain pay, benefits, home time, and available driving opportunities to candidates
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective drivers
• Follow up consistently and keep an active recruiting pipeline
• Review applications and identify qualified candidates
• Maintain applicant records and recruiting activity in Tenstreet
• Coordinate background checks, MVRs, employment verification, and required hiring documents
• Schedule qualified applicants for new-hire orientation
• Partner closely with the Safety and Recruiting Administration teams throughout the hiring process

Requirements

• Previous CDL truck driver recruiting experience required
• Knowledge of the trucking and transportation industry
• Experience using Tenstreet preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong relationship-building and consistent follow-up abilities
• Comfortability making a high volume of outbound recruiting calls
• Highly organized approach with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills

Compensation: USD 55,000 - 85,000 per yearly. Minimum experience: 1 year.
