CDL Driver Recruiter
Job Description
GXO Logistics is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, interview, and hire CDL and non-CDL drivers onsite in South Carolina, handling high-volume recruiting across multiple locations and building talent pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Recruit for CDL and non-CDL driver roles across multiple GXO locations
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified driver candidates to meet current and future hiring needs
- Leverage sourcing tools, job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach to identify qualified candidates
- Foster relationships with drivers and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, Compliance, and hiring managers to align on staffing needs and priorities
- Coordinate recruiting processes and maintain accuracy and efficiency of documentation
- Represent GXO at hiring events, job fairs, community events, and transportation industry networks
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates during the recruiting journey
- Track recruiting activity and keep candidate records up to date in the applicant tracking system
- Monitor open requisitions and identify opportunities to improve speed and candidate flow
- Assist in developing recruiting campaigns and sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill locations and roles
- Use recruiting metrics and reports to drive hiring effectiveness and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 1 year of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting or staffing initiatives
- Experience sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, networking, or other recruiting tools
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- 2 years of progressively responsible experience in HR, employment, recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing
- Experience recruiting CDL drivers, transportation professionals, logistics employees, or other operations talent
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM tools
- Knowledge of transportation, trucking, logistics, or supply chain industries
- Experience with candidate sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume, or similar tools
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hiring requirements
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting multi-site or high-volume recruiting environments
- Ability to analyze recruiting activity and use data to improve hiring outcomes
