University Relations & Recruiting Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Virtual University Relations and Recruiting Talent Acquisition Business Partner to lead campus talent initiatives from a remote location, collaborating on UR&R strategies and coordinating focus university events with travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for regional and site-specific college and internship requisitions.
• Work with Enterprise and Sector UR&R to shape talent strategies and engage at target universities and events.
• Proactively source top candidates at focus universities.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pool from campus activities to support regional and site hiring events.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with top campus and intern talent and keep candidate activity in the ATS accurate and up to date.
• Monitor UR&R metrics to inform recruitment decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements that drive operating excellence.
• Screen candidates from focus universities to assess fit and potential.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to craft clear and compelling job descriptions.
• Ensure proper job classification and level assignment for openings.
• Source and screen candidates to build a qualified slate.
• Schedule and conduct interviews, coordinating with stakeholders as needed.
• Provide recommendations to hiring managers and work with partners to extend offers.
• Lead negotiation discussions as required to secure top talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, recruiting support, HR, or closely related fields; or a Master’s degree.
• Ability to travel regionally to assist with events and support business needs.

Compensation

Annual salary range: USD 69,000.00 – 103,400.00.
