Job Description

This is a full-time, onsite Truck Driver Recruiter role based in Casa Grande, AZ. The position centers on recruiting Class A and Class B CDL drivers, screening applications, coordinating with the safety department, and maintaining a database of contacts and applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Disseminate marketing materials to prospective Class A and Class B CDL drivers in order to support recruitment for the company.
  • Screen submitted applications to verify candidates meet current hiring requirements.
  • Coordinate with the safety department to process applications, obtain approvals, and schedule orientation for selected candidates.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all contacts and applicants to ensure proper representation and clarity throughout the recruitment process.
  • Leverage marketing channels including web-based sites, online applications, mailed marketing materials, internal databases, inbound recruiting calls, and cold calling.
  • Represent the company at field recruiting events as designated by the Vice President.
  • Support events such as truck shows, hiring events, and other special recruiting needs.
  • Develop and maintain a database of all contacts and applicants that can be presented upon request.
  • Provide a weekly activity report to the Director.

Requirements

  • Prior experience recruiting drivers is required.
  • Experience with equipment types is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with computers, fax machines, and phones is required.
