Driver Recruiter

JoyRide Logistics, LLC is seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter to support the end-to-end hiring process for commercial drivers. Based in Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid work setup, this role focuses on recruiting at high volume, verifying eligibility, and moving qualified drivers through onboarding while staying aligned with company standards and DOT requirements.

What you’ll do

• Place high-volume outbound calls to prospective driver candidates.
• Pre-qualify and screen drivers according to company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of driver communications, follow-ups, and recruiting activity.
• Pull and review MVR, PSP, Clearinghouse, and other required driver reports.
• Use company hiring guidelines to determine whether candidates are approved or disqualified.
• Maintain complete and compliant Driver Qualification (DQ) Files, including licenses, medical cards, reports, and drug test results.
• Communicate approval, disqualification, and onboarding status to drivers.
• Track onboarding progress using Tenstreet and other company systems.
• Schedule and follow up on drug tests, background checks, road tests, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Help drivers set up the Amazon Relay App and complete required onboarding steps.
• Schedule driver training and coordinate with trainers.
• Schedule driver orientation, confirm start dates, and share confirmed details with the appropriate departments.
• Provide a daily summary to the Recruiting Supervisor listing drivers scheduled for orientation.
• Maintain a monthly goal of 25–30 qualified new drivers.

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience (recruiting, staffing, transportation, or driver recruiting preferred).
• Preferred knowledge of DOT requirements and driver qualification standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential records.

Compensation and benefits

$55,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience.
