Transportation Recruiter

Translogistix is seeking a Transportation Recruiter to support full-cycle hiring for contractors and owner-operators. This onsite role in Savage, MD partners closely with operations leaders to understand staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and help new hires complete onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with department managers to determine location hiring needs, draft job board requirements, and set qualification criteria for each position.
• Source candidates through online channels, professional networks, job boards, and scheduled job fairs.
• Conduct initial applicant vetting using the corporate standard operations procedure and aligned to the advertised position needs.
• Provide department managers with ongoing updates on open role status and communicate when new hires are fully onboarded.
• Guide new hires through the onboarding process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an internal recruiter, recruiter, or similar role (preferably within transportation or logistics recruiting for contractors/owner-operators).
• Experience sourcing Final Mile Home Delivery Contractors is preferred.
• Solid familiarity with recruiting applications, with SCI and Indeed included as preferred tools.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate professionally with other departments.
• Strong self-management and time-management skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
