Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter
Job Description
An energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the full recruiting lifecycle from initial outreach through onboarding in an MSP environment, onsite in Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Job Board and Pipeline Management: Oversee postings across multiple platforms and track applicant stages within Pinpoint to maintain an organized, efficient hiring pipeline.
- Pre-Screening: Conduct initial phone or video pre-screen interviews to assess technical aptitude, soft skills, and cultural fit.
- Sourcing and Talent Pipeline: Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates for technical roles (such as Helpdesk, Network Engineers, Systems Administrators) and administrative positions.
- Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs, refine job descriptions, and align on hiring timelines.
- Screening Procedures: Initiate and manage pre-employment background checks and drug screenings in a timely, compliant manner.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel logistics (flights, hotels, transportation) for out-of-town candidates or new hires attending interviews or orientation.
- New Employee Experience: Support onboarding by preparing welcome materials and co-facilitating orientation sessions to ensure a smooth start.
- Candidate Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing timely updates, interview feedback, and offer details.

- Prior Experience: 1–3+ years of recruiting or HR support experience, ideally within IT, tech, or MSP environments.
