Based in Austin, TX, this hybrid Talent Acquisition Recruiter role supports ABM's Frontline Talent Acquisition Team and centers on bilingual recruitment of janitorial staff. The position blends in-office collaboration four days a week with full life cycle recruiting, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally with candidates to move the hiring process forward through in person, email, text, and phone, with a primary focus on the designated hiring center.
  • Reach out to new candidates via phone or email.
  • Run and review background, drug-screen, and motor vehicle paperwork using ABM approved systems.
  • Develop candidate leads through resume searches, job fairs, college recruiting, referrals, networking, cold calling, and direct sourcing.
  • Attend job fairs and effectively present ABM and open positions to potential applicants.
  • Create and publish professional recruiting materials and advertising on internal and external systems.
  • Maintain proper filing systems.
  • Conduct structured candidate interest assessments to determine best fit for open roles.
  • Assist applicants with online job applications, schedule interviews as needed, and coordinate pre-employment background screening and onboarding actions.
  • Assist with candidate screening, interviewing, and selection as needed.
  • Drive candidate flow by leveraging multiple techniques, including talent pool mining, job postings, networking, social media marketing, cold calling, research, and job board searches.
  • Address employment-related questions from internal clients, hiring leaders, and job seekers.
  • Communicate with hiring managers and the recruitment team to ensure alignment with broader recruiting strategies and client needs.
  • Track and report lead generation sources and conversion metrics to inform recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Talent Acquisition or Staffing role, preferably for service-level or light industrial positions.
  • Customer-service focus with a hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to deliver results.
  • Strong ability to build relationships across the organization and grow networks.
  • Proactive in identifying gaps and addressing staffing needs as part of staffing plans.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and maintain composure in various situations.
  • Critical thinking skills with solid analytical and communication abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives on time.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to maintain confidentiality.
