Talent Acquisition Partner – Architecture, Interior Design
Job Description
NBBJ seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full cycle recruitment for Architecture and Interior Design, operating onsite in New York, NY. The role engages with hiring teams and HR leadership to build sourcing strategies, contribute to employer branding, and drive process improvements across the recruiting lifecycle. The compensation range for this position is USD 107,000 to 125,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Own full cycle Talent Acquisition and source top Architectural, Design, and Operational talent using LinkedIn, design groups and publications, and other preferred channels.
- Collaborate with Hiring Teams to define recruiting strategy and milestones to attract top talent.
- Partner with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Leadership to shape strategy for key hiring initiatives, including strategy meetings, status reports, and guidance through the recruiting process.
- Support recruiting strategies for East Coast hires, covering Boston, New York, and Columbus.
- Occasionally assist with London hiring efforts, contributing to job descriptions and sourcing strategy as needed.
- Work with the Marketing Team to enhance the NBBJ external brand through social media campaigns, monitoring employer ratings on Glassdoor and similar sites, updates to the career website, and industry engagement opportunities.
- Schedule weekly or bi monthly meetings with hiring teams for candidate tracking updates and recruiting strategy discussions.
- Develop best practice efficiencies in the recruiting process to improve clarity and ease of use for HR and Hiring Teams.
- Collaborate with the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to provide monthly metrics to Firm Leadership, identify trends, and propose solutions to improve performance, retention, and candidate experience.
- Assist studios with compensation conversations, including salary strategy for hires, in partnership with the Benefits and Compensation Manager.
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Requirements
- Ability to establish rapid credibility and maintain ongoing trust with leaders and employees.

- Proven excellence in sourcing across multiple mediums with a creative approach to finding top talent.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Capacity to deliver results with minimal supervision in dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environments.
- Effective prioritization and time management to adapt to shifting schedules and priorities.
- Independence in decision making and sound judgement in day to day operations.
- Curiosity and a commitment to learning and growth within the role.
- Ten plus years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with preference for experience in the A/E/C industry.
- At least five years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience sourcing candidates beyond the local location.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; familiarity with Jobvite and Deltek Vision is highly desirable.
