Job Description

Abbott Laboratories is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to guide a dedicated team in Columbus, Ohio. The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will drive leadership-hiring strategies and full-cycle recruitment for the US Supply Chain, operating onsite and delivering data driven outcomes through strategic partnerships and global programs. The role offers a compensation range of USD 129,300 to 258,700 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a Talent Acquisition team within a matrix environment, supporting Abbott Nutrition's US Supply Chain.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders from Director to DVP level to translate business needs into high impact hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • Direct end to end recruitment for leadership and hard to fill roles, ensuring high quality hires and a positive candidate experience.
  • Design and implement modern recruitment practices including sourcing innovations, direct pipelines, employer branding campaigns, and cost effective channels.
  • Apply data, metrics, and market insights to shape strategy, lift team performance, and influence stakeholders.
  • Steer strategic initiatives such as workforce expansion, cross functional projects, and global programs.
  • Build and manage external partnerships with academic institutions, diversity organizations, and early career programs to support talent pipelines.
  • Foster a high performance, inclusive team culture through coaching, development, and effective leadership.
  • Champion change management and continuously elevate TA capabilities across processes, technology, and ways of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including at least 3 years in an in house, matrixed environment and 2+ years of people management experience
  • Proven experience leading full cycle recruitment across functions such as commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate roles
  • Demonstrated success hiring for senior level roles
  • Strong leadership experience managing both individual contributors and managers in a global or matrix environment
  • Expertise in stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior leaders using data, market insights, and talent expertise
  • Experience developing and executing direct sourcing strategies and talent marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling skills with the ability to use metrics to drive decisions and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and deliver results in a fast paced environment
