Seeking Trucking Company Driver Recruiter

The Buffalo Group is hiring an in-person, full-time Trucking Company Driver Recruiter in Indianapolis, IN. This role supports a growing transportation operation by identifying, engaging, and hiring qualified CDL Class A drivers who can get on the road.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience recruiting professional truck drivers and understand where to find CDL Class A talent. The position is designed for someone who can consistently source candidates, run the hiring process, and maintain relationships through follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of the trucking industry to understand where and how to find qualified CDL Class A drivers.
• Source, screen, interview, and hire professional truck drivers.
• Build and maintain relationships, with consistent follow-up, to drive qualified candidates through the hiring process and into trucks.

Qualifications

• Previous trucking and/or CDL driver recruiting experience.
• Proven ability to source and attract qualified CDL Class A drivers.
• Knowledge of driver recruiting platforms and sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, referrals, and other channels.
• Strong communication skills and dependable follow-up.
• Ability to screen applicants and identify qualified candidates.
• Valid CDL Class A license, including the ability to road test potential clients.
• Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven approach to recruiting.

Compensation and Position Details

• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
