Sales Recruiter
Job Description

This on-site Sales Recruiter role in the Springfield, IL office focuses on attracting top talent, partnering with leadership to achieve growth goals, and representing the company in local communities. The position is based onsite with occasional travel to events or other Central Illinois offices, enabling you to build relationships across the region.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture referral channels inside the office, with community advocates, and from diverse sources to generate high-quality leads
- Seek out new prospects by engaging with community clubs and organizations
- Strengthen the office brand on social platforms and in local forums
- Develop and refresh marketing materials as needed
- Proactively source candidates from online and social channels including LinkedIn and Indeed
- Own the relationship and communication with candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle
- Administer screening tools and assessments as part of the evaluation process
- Foster collaboration with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate candidate records
- Prepare regular reports for the manager and leadership team
- Analyze recruiting metrics and identify process inefficiencies, then implement improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting, or related field
- Proven ability to function effectively as a team member and collaborate with all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of internet sourcing platforms
- Strong network of personal or professional advocates or active community involvement
Work location: In person
