Safety, Compliance & Recruiting Coordinator
Job Description
Onsite role in Fontana, CA focused on driver recruiting, safety and compliance, and fleet support for California Delivery Services.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified CDL drivers
- Conduct driver qualification file reviews
- Coordinate pre-employment screening and drug testing
- Process new hire paperwork and orientation
- Maintain FMCSA and DOT compliance
- Manage Driver Qualification (DQ) Files
- Monitor ELD and Hours of Service compliance
- Conduct driver coaching and corrective actions
- Track annual MVRs, medical cards, and license renewals
- Assist with DOT audits and inspections
- Review accident and incident reports
- Monitor CSA scores and safety metrics
- Coordinate training programs
- Support fleet safety initiatives and compliance programs
Requirements
- SAMSARA knowledge is a plus
- Transportation industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and Hours of Service regulations
- Experience with driver recruiting and onboarding
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience with ELD systems (Samsara experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
