Recruiting Manager (Finance & Accounting Permanent Placement)

Robert Half is seeking a Recruiting Manager to support its full-time permanent placement work for finance and accounting clients in Naperville, IL. In this onsite role, you will build relationships that grow new business while also recruiting, evaluating, and placing finance and accounting professionals for client opportunities.

The position balances client development with candidate support, with a focus on consistent communication and career guidance. You will also help strengthen local visibility by participating in industry trade associations.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and grow a client base and new business opportunities.
• Introduce services through video, telephone, and in-person meetings to help expand utilization among new and existing clients.
• Recruit, evaluate, and place finance and accounting professionals into full-time roles with clients.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates.
• Provide consistent communication and career guidance to candidates.
• Participate in industry trade associations to increase presence within the local finance and accounting community.

Qualifications

• Business related degree, ideally in finance or accounting.
• CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in public/industry accounting/finance and/or successful permanent placement recruiting experience.
• Proven track record of success.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High sense of urgency.
• Ability to leverage finance and accounting experience to manage and grow the business.

Compensation & Bonus

• Typical salary range: USD 60,000 - 80,000 per year.
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience and location.
• Eligible for a bonus based upon achievement of performance objectives.
