Job Description

Trova Advisory Group is expanding its talent function with a Talent Acquisition Specialist in a hybrid Vernon Hills, IL setting. This contract-direct hire role centers on full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and candidate management, helping the team attract and hire top talent across the organization. The position offers an hourly rate of $33-$36 and requires collaboration with hiring managers to align staffing with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offering and onboarding.
  • Develop inventive strategies to attract strong candidates for a range of roles.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing channels including direct outreach, professional associations, social media, talent databases, and networking.
  • Leverage ATS tools, AI-powered search capabilities, and recruiting analytics to improve candidate identification and engagement.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Perform background checks and manage pre-employment communications and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting guidance throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, networking, and candidate assessment.
  • Experience supporting recruiting operations, processes, and workflow management.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting tools and sourcing methods, including job boards, social media platforms, talent databases, and web-based search tools.
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and secure qualified candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
