Based in Houston, TX on site, the Recruiter II at BAKERRIPLEY leads the end-to-end recruitment process, aligning client hiring priorities with a steady stream of qualified candidates. This role emphasizes building a robust candidate pool through WorkInTexas.com and networking, while delivering ongoing, high-quality service to employer partners.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle, understanding employer priorities, conducting outreach and interviews, referring qualified candidates, and advancing the hiring process.
- Obtain and input job posting information from employers as needed.
- Focus on recruiting, screening, and referring qualified candidates to WorkInTexas.com postings and driving the hiring process to closure.
- Assist candidates in improving WorkInTexas.com applications and resumes.
- Leverage alternate candidate sources and explore creative methods to fill postings.
- Engage in networking with business associations, educational institutions, and industry groups to expand the candidate pool.
- Communicate with employers to discuss needs, fill open Job Postings, and solicit feedback on service.
- Provide ongoing service to employers with open postings in WorkInTexas.com, maintaining adequate referral activity.
- Communicate employer feedback to career office staff to inform candidate development.
- May arrange and monitor scheduling and logistics for employer interviews, onsite hiring events, and jobsite activities.
- Document work and activity in WorkInTexas.com as required.
