Job Description

Staff Icons is seeking an onsite Recruiter Assistant in Oradell, NJ to support HR, recruitment, onboarding, and related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist end-to-end recruitment activities by sourcing candidates via social media, research, outbound outreach, and using platforms such as iCIMS, Workday, and PeopleSoft.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to identify qualified candidates across multiple departments.
  • Coordinate HR sourcing efforts and nurture relationships with potential candidates using relationship-management techniques.
  • Orchestrate onboarding processes and orientation sessions, and support employee evaluation procedures.
  • Maintain precise records within ATS systems such as Taleo, UltiPro, Kronos, and ADP, and in HRIS platforms including Salesforce.
  • Assist with employment and labor law compliance by preparing contracts and ensuring documentation accuracy.
  • Support employee relations initiatives and participate in training and development programs.
  • Contribute to talent management activities, including succession planning and lead generation for internal recruitment.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support internal recruiting efforts.
  • Manage social media channels to reinforce the employer brand and support recruitment outreach.

Requirements

  • Experience or familiarity with recruiting methods such as executive recruiting, campus recruitment, HR sourcing, and internal recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms including iCIMS, Taleo, Workday, and PeopleSoft; HRIS like SAP or UltiPro; payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex; Kronos timekeeping; and talent acquisition software including Lever.
  • Understanding of employment and labor law to ensure hiring compliance.
  • Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail.
  • Experience managing social media for recruitment campaigns is a plus.
  • Familiarity with training and development processes and employee orientation procedures.
  • Strong research skills for candidate sourcing and market analysis.
  • Contributes to organizational growth by attracting top talent while maintaining administrative excellence in HR functions.
