Principal PM, Strategy & Operations, Talent Acquisition-Tech

Amazon’s Talent Acquisition Technology (TA Tech) organization builds the products and services that support how Amazon hires. In this onsite Arlington, VA role, you will define and drive how TA Tech operates at scale by owning key operating cadences, leading strategic initiatives, and partnering across product, TPM, and engineering stakeholders.

Role Overview

Serve as a Principal PM for TA Tech within People eXperience and Technology (PXT). You will own the operating model and the Rhythm of the Business, translating strategy into execution cadences for senior leadership. You will also lead change management and cross-org special projects, with direct communication to senior leadership as a core part of the role.

Core Responsibilities

• Define and own TA Tech’s operating model and Rhythm of the Business, including goal setting, MBR/QBR cadences, and executive reporting.
• Set the strategy for how the organization tracks progress, measures impact, and makes decisions at scale.
• Lead org-wide change management by building consensus across product, TPM, and engineering stakeholders.
• Own inputs into OP1/OP2 and prepare strategic narratives for senior leadership.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks across the organization by creating scalable mechanisms that drive force multiplication across teams.
• Drive cross-org special projects from an ambiguous problem statement through structured execution.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR or business function experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management or Development, business, or similar related discipline.
• Experience in communicating and presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience in talent acquisition technology, HR technology, or people systems/platforms.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Arlington, VA (onsite)
• Salary: USD 149,800 - 202,600 per yearly
