Job Description

Lead Talent Acquisition Partner at GE Vernova, onsite in California, driving strategic full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of client groups.

Responsibilities

  • Employ diverse, data informed sourcing methods to identify and engage both active and passive candidates across multiple channels, building a broad talent pool.
  • Assess candidates for technical proficiency, cultural alignment, and leadership potential; provide strategic recommendations to hiring teams on selection decisions.
  • Provide mentorship to junior recruiters on advanced sourcing and screening strategies, sharing best practices and coaching for capability growth.
  • Present opportunities in a manner that clearly aligns with each candidate's motivations and career objectives.
  • Ensure an inclusive, fair recruitment process that delivers a positive candidate experience and equitable outcomes.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting GE Vernova on social channels and elevating the company talent brand.
  • Expand GE Vernova visibility in targeted channels to drive candidate engagement and build pipelines for hard to fill roles.
  • Utilize recruitment data and market insights to refine strategies, offering actionable recommendations for process optimization and influencing stakeholders amid evolving trends and talent availability.
  • Oversee and advise on end-to-end recruitment for roles with varying levels of complexity, delivering insights to hiring managers and people leaders.
  • Lead complex offer negotiations with candidates and guide stakeholders on compensation benchmarks and alignment with market data.
  • Maintain accurate, timely candidate and requisition data in the ATS to support reporting and analytics with high data integrity.
  • Apply Lean principles to streamline recruitment processes, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to projects and adopt best practices to enhance daily recruiting operations and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience with expertise in sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
  • 2+ years of consultative recruitment experience within the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy sectors, or other highly regulated technical industries.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting niche roles for the Quebec market.
  • Fluent in French.
