HR Recruiting Assistant

Jeff Foster Trucking offers an on-site HR role in Superior, Wisconsin with the opportunity to directly support recruiting, onboarding, and employee programs. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current HR files, records, and documentation, ensuring proper filing and data integrity.
• Answer common questions from applicants and employees about policies, benefits, and the hiring process; route more complex inquiries to senior HR staff or management.
• Protect the confidentiality of HR records and uphold data integrity.
• Perform periodic audits of HR files to confirm all required documents are collected and filed correctly.
• Provide clerical support to the HR department.
• Assist with or conduct new-hire orientation.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for new hires as needed.
• Support planning and execution of employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other celebrations.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing prospective candidates.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to handle sensitive situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
