Job Description

Jeff Foster Trucking offers an on-site HR role in Superior, Wisconsin with the opportunity to directly support recruiting, onboarding, and employee programs. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and current HR files, records, and documentation, ensuring proper filing and data integrity.
Answer common questions from applicants and employees about policies, benefits, and the hiring process; route more complex inquiries to senior HR staff or management.
Protect the confidentiality of HR records and uphold data integrity.
Perform periodic audits of HR files to confirm all required documents are collected and filed correctly.
Provide clerical support to the HR department.
Assist with or conduct new-hire orientation.
Coordinate travel arrangements for new hires as needed.
Support planning and execution of employee recognition events, holiday parties, and other celebrations.
Assist with recruiting and interviewing prospective candidates.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to handle sensitive situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
