Job Description

Koss Industrial, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist / Recruiter to support the Green Bay, WI team onsite. This full-time role combines full-cycle recruiting with daily HR support across onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HR administration, compliance, and employee documentation. If you enjoy partnering with hiring managers and helping employees through key people processes in a manufacturing environment, this position offers variety and meaningful ownership.

What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from job posting through accepted offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and position requirements.
  • Create and maintain job postings to attract qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, schools, workforce organizations, and community resources.
  • Review applications and resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate next steps.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates through every stage.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
  • Track recruiting records, monitor open positions, and track hiring activity.
  • Build relationships with technical schools, colleges, workforce organizations, and other recruiting partners.
  • Participate in career fairs and recruiting events as needed.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Answer employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support managers with employee relations, attendance, performance, and corrective action matters.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Process employee changes and keep HRIS information accurate.
  • Support employee benefits administration and respond to benefit-related questions.
  • Assist with performance reviews, training, employee engagement, and retention efforts.
  • Support employee separations and offboarding.
  • Assist with leave administration and required employee documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvements, plus other HR responsibilities as needed.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous recruiting experience required.
  • 3+ years of HR and/or recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple positions through the full recruiting process preferred.
  • Recruiting experience for manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, or engineering positions is a plus.
  • General knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Experience with onboarding, employee relations, benefits, HR administration, or performance management preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional handling of confidential information.
  • Comfort working independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • HR-related degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
