Responsibilities

  • Post job openings and monitor candidate flow and interview activity
  • Coordinate interviews for hiring managers across multiple locations
  • Support management of a 50-80 openings pipeline at any given time
  • Oversee full cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions
  • Pre-screen, forward, and follow up on resumes to Hiring Managers
  • Track and coordinate testing and professional reference checks
  • Prepare and present new hire offers and internal offers for promotions or transfers
  • Submit and track pre-employment background checks, drug screens, and physicals
  • Assist the recruitment team in meeting overall hiring goals
  • Participate in special projects such as recruiting initiatives and team campaigns
  • Coordinate scheduling of recruiting meetings, new hire orientation, job fairs, and open houses; collaborate with marketing on event collateral
  • Provide customer service and support to employees as part of the HR function
  • Contribute to special HR assignments and projects
  • Fulfill other duties as directed by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years in healthcare or nurse recruiting
  • Experience handling a high volume desk and functioning well under pressure
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to interact effectively by email and telephone with internal and external stakeholders
  • Polished, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to take initiative and proactively propose solutions in a team setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A genuine interest in a career path within recruiting or human resources
