This onsite recruiter role in Reno, NV focuses on attracting, engaging, and hiring high quality candidates while partnering with onsite leadership and HR to build talent pipelines and meet recruiting metrics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth, efficient process.
- Proactively source candidates through diverse channels, including referral campaigns and creative outreach.
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and support hiring decisions.
- Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and maintain compliant records.
- Administer offer management, including extending offers and coordinating pre-employment steps.
- Manage pre-employment activities such as background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and required documentation.
- Support new hire check-ins, training coordination, and compliance requirements for all employees.
- Maintain accurate job requisition files and candidate records in alignment with company policies.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and company guidelines.
- Organize and participate in onsite recruiting events and hiring initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support to onsite leadership on employee relations, communication, and payroll inquiries.
- Communicate proactively with site teams and leadership to deliver excellent customer service.
- Track and report recruiting activity with daily and weekly metrics to meet performance goals.
- Generate referral campaigns to strengthen candidate pipelines.
- Submit daily and weekly recruiting reports to internal leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support recruiting and onsite operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
- Education — High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience — 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition preferred.
- Knowledge/Skills — Solid understanding of recruitment lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Preferred Qualifications — Experience in high-volume onsite or light industrial recruiting environments.
- Preferred Qualifications — Exposure to employer branding or recruitment marketing initiatives.
