Driver Recruiter

Onsite Driver Recruiter role in Wenona, IL with Breckenridge Trucking Inc., offering USD 55,000 - 65,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source driver candidates using cold calls, email campaigns, and online resources.
• Reach out to prospective drivers by phone, email, or in-person visits to present opportunities.
• Review applications, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidates for fit and regulatory compliance.
• Assist candidates with the application process and coordinate background checks, orientations, and travel logistics.
• Maintain a positive candidate experience while coordinating the end-to-end hiring and onboarding process.
• Follow up with new hires at 15, 30, and 90 days to gauge satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous recruiting experience is required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
• Experience with Tenstreet is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and maintains a positive attitude.
