Driver Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Proactively source qualified CDL drivers using job boards, social networks, referrals, and industry platforms
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates
• Create, post, and manage driver job listings to attract top talent
• Review applications to assess qualifications, experience, and endorsements
• Conduct phone screenings and pre-qualify candidates
• Verify CDL licenses, driving records, and required credentials
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations to understand hiring needs
• Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps in the hiring process
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process
• Ensure all recruiting activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of candidates, hiring activity, and driver documentation

Requirements

• Prior recruiting experience, preferably in trucking or logistics
• Knowledge of CDL requirements and DOT regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to evaluate candidates and provide sound hiring recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms
• Experience using social media and online sourcing tools
