Job Description

Vista Trans is seeking a remote Driver Recruiter to attract CDL drivers, build a robust candidate pipeline, and coordinate with dispatch while ensuring DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

Proactively source qualified CDL drivers using job boards, social networks, referrals, and industry platforms
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates
Create, post, and manage driver job listings to attract top talent
Review applications to assess qualifications, experience, and endorsements
Conduct phone screenings and pre-qualify candidates
Verify CDL licenses, driving records, and required credentials
Collaborate with dispatch and operations to understand hiring needs
Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps in the hiring process
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process
Ensure all recruiting activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards
Maintain accurate records of candidates, hiring activity, and driver documentation

Requirements

Prior recruiting experience, preferably in trucking or logistics
Knowledge of CDL requirements and DOT regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to evaluate candidates and provide sound hiring recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms
Experience using social media and online sourcing tools
