Indian River Transport is seeking a disciplined Driver Recruiter to build a reliable pipeline of CDL-A drivers, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and guide new hires through onboarding while adhering to DOT and FMCSA standards. This onsite role in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, supports our transportation operations by connecting qualified drivers with a smooth, compliant hiring process.

Responsibilities

Actively source and recruit qualified CDL-A drivers via job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate driver experience, safety records, and qualifications.
Lead candidates through the entire recruitment process from initial outreach to orientation and onboarding.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective hires to sustain engagement.
Collaborate with safety, operations, and HR teams to ensure a smooth handoff and timely onboarding.
Track and manage candidate activity using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
Ensure all hiring practices comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in driver recruiting or high-volume transportation recruiting with meeting quotas.
Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is preferred.
Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
High sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting software; Tenstreet preferred.
Self-starter mindset with a results-driven attitude.
