Job Description
Service Pros Installation Group is hiring an Area Installation Recruiting Specialist to lead flooring installer recruitment, onboarding, and performance across a defined multi-state territory. This is a field-based role with regular Lowe's store visits and in-home measurement support to strengthen the Lowe's flooring customer experience.
Territory and Role Overview
This position oversees recruitment and readiness of flooring installers across a multi-state area. The work is primarily on the road, including targeted Lowe's Home Improvement store visits and in-home measurement activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment of flooring installers within the assigned multi-state territory using the ADVanced Insights Team tool and other targeted sourcing methods.
- Review and apply insights from applicant and hiring manager survey data to improve recruiting efficiency and quality of hire within the flooring installation marketplace.
- Negotiate installer cost structures aligned with local flooring market rates and the Service Pros cost model.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the flooring installation contractor marketplace, including competitor activity, installer availability, and regional pricing trends.
- Design and deliver structured onboarding and training for newly contracted installers so they can represent Service Pros and Lowe's with professionalism and skill.
- Provide sales training support for installers, including product knowledge and communication skills to improve customer relationships and satisfaction.
- Complete in-home flooring measurement training and perform measurements as needed, with a $30.00 piece rate per measurement.
- Collaborate with the workroom team to develop and implement installer retention and appreciation initiatives that reduce turnover and support long-term loyalty.
- Conduct targeted Lowe's store visits to evaluate and strengthen the installer/Lowe's relationship on behalf of the organization.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for installers in the territory to support trust and open communication.
- Use KPIs, data reporting, and performance metrics to monitor gross profit margins and customer experience benchmarks, taking proactive action when trends indicate a need.
- Support consistently achieving superior customer satisfaction scores within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: 3–5 years of related experience in talent acquisition, field operations, or customer service management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead situationally by motivating and aligning people around organizational goals and expectations.
- Experience in a large, multi-site or multi-state environment managing competing priorities and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with entry-level installers, store managers, and senior leadership.
- Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, email, and word processing tools, and comfort using reporting tools and data to drive decisions.
- Solid mathematical reasoning for cost modeling, pricing analysis, and evaluation of performance metrics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving and insurance requirements.
- Ability to travel up to 75% across a multi-state territory.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs. and perform in-home measurements as needed.

- Salary: $62,000.00–$66,000.00 per year
